Detroit’s Turkey Trot

November 23, 2017

Sometimes called “The Parade before The Parade”, this annual event is a Detroit favorite. Warm up for eating that large turkey dinner with a 10K/ 5K/ or 1-mile run. This event is not just for the costumed runners; it’s a fan favorite and draws some of the largest spectator crowds of the year.

Noel Night

Saturday, December 2, 2017 | 5:00-10:00 p.m.

Don’t miss Detroit’s annual Noel Night where over 100 participating venues (Detroit Insitute of the Arts, Detroit Symphony Orchestra and many more!) open their doors to the public free of charge. Other festivities include horse-drawn carriage rides, family craft activities and live performances. This is one of Detroit’s best events of the year and the perfect time to enjoy the local arts.
