More than just a gorgeous stroll, the Detroit Riverfront is a long park and features many activities, especially through the summer. Visitors enjoy Tai Chi, moonlight yoga, weekly walks, races, live music, car shows, children’s literacy programs and more. The riverfront is maintained by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy whose mission is to, “transform Detroit’s international riverfront – the face of the city – into a beautiful, exciting, safe, accessible world-class gathering place for all.”
